James’ Bio

Screen Shot 2015-12-12 at 8.31.54 AM James Berroya is organizing his first cross-country drive from New York to California – which includes this ‘green’ vintage Airstream renovation! In the meantime he is developing various skill sets through classes at the New York School of Interior Design, Pratt Institute, EcoNest and Mokuchi Japanese Woodworking Studio. He will also be assisting traditional Venetian plaster artist Orazio DeGennaro in early 2016 and is now consulting for private clients.

James has spent the last 3 years serving as a high-end residential construction project manager at Interior Management, Inc. while completing his Sustainable Building & Design Certificate at Yestermorrow Design / Build School. This broad spectrum of opportunity has allowed him to collaborate with world-renowned design & architecture firms and specialized craftspeople, and simultaneously become immersed in the green building movement and learn directly from its champions on a community level. An earlier background in the New York film & fashion industries complements his current interior design and home organizing / staging consultation work.

He enjoys a good single-malt scotch, playing chess, and anything spicy.
